Our maternal, infant, and young child nutrition program focuses on improving nutrition outcomes for pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children under five. The intervention combines nutrition education, supplementation, and community-based support to ensure optimal growth and development.
This comprehensive intervention addresses the critical window of opportunity from pregnancy to the first two years of life, when proper nutrition has the greatest impact on long-term health and development.
"Before joining the program, I struggled to provide adequate nutrition for my children. Through the mother-to-mother support group, I learned about proper feeding practices and how to prepare nutritious meals using local ingredients. Today, my children are healthy and thriving."- Grace, mother of three, Uganda
This intervention is implemented in partnership with national ministries of health, local NGOs, and community-based organizations to ensure sustainability and reach.
