Impact of Poor Household WASH on Nutrition

This research study was designed to generate concrete, context-specific evidence on the link between poor household Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) conditions and the nutritional status of children under five. Building on global evidence that WASH is a major underlying cause of undernutrition , this project aimed to quantify the impact in specific communities in Uganda and the DRC. The findings are crucial for designing more effective, integrated WASH-Nutrition programs and for advocating for greater investment in this multi-sectoral approach.
